See It. Remember It.
RECALL ECHO is a visual practice tool for working with a specific piece of information you want to remember, such as a number, a short phrase, a date, or a sequence of characters.
| Stage | Duration | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| RECORD 1 | 3 min | Focus on the red target. |
| INTEGRATE 1 | 1 min | Rest your attention and look at the light. |
| RECORD 2 | 3 min | Find the target among the distractors again. |
| INTEGRATE 2 | 1 min | Relax your focus. |
| RECORD 3 | 3 min | Focus on the entire target as one unit. |
| CONSOLIDATE | 1 min | Finish without new material. |
The timer and progress bar show your position in the cycle. A sound signals transitions when audio is available.
At the end of a standard session, the RECALL screen appears. The original target is not shown on this screen.
For numeric targets, accuracy reflects digits matching at their original positions. For other text, accuracy is based on edit-distance similarity after standardizing case and whitespace. These scores indicate how closely your answer matches the original; they do not measure long-term memory retention.
RECALL ECHO is an experimental visual practice method. It is not scientifically established that the animation itself causes information to be stored in memory. Your recall score is a practice result, not a measure of intelligence or a medical assessment.
The app runs locally in a modern browser and does not need an internet connection to run.
